My Valentine Card Class

I held another successful card class featuring Valentine  Cards. The attendees had a blast. Here are the cards we made.

Folded Card class

Another successful card class featuring folded cards completed yesterday!  We made the following type of cards: side step (dresser card), spring, triangle trifold. squash fold & two basic fold cards. The cards were a hit. Here are the examples I made:

 My next class will be in two weeks featuring Valentine's Cards. Will post pictures after the class. A special birthday card for Lauren.

For my daughter's 13th birthday I wanted to make her a one of a kind card. I came across the idea on Facebook's Pinterest. She loved it!

 Can you believe 2013 is here!  Now is the best time to send those thank you cards. I grew up with the idea that if someone gives you a give or does a random act of kindness for you - you should send a thank you note.  Here are a few that I made:

Scrapbooking without pictures

For those of us who have been Scrapbooking for some time, we may find ourselves in a sort of "scrapers block" of some sorts.  I found a great way to move beyond that block....Design pages without the pictures!  This allows your creative side to flow. Pictures can be added later!

 In the past I have taught classes on this technique. If you don't feel the creative juices flowing, it is "OK" to use examples from magazines, books or even use books created to do just that. A great reference comes from Close to My Heart. They offers books with all the instructions. (Want to know more...just contact  me! )
